Dear Parish Family,

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is the divine gift of God Himself who pours Himself out for our reconciliation and peace. 

Fr. Gary also celebrates his 40th priesthood anniversary this Sunday, June 7. The Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ on this special anniversary year reminds me of the joy of our priesthood entrusted with consecrating the Eucharist and offering the life of Christ through the Sacraments of the Church to others. Happy 40th anniversary, Fr. Gary! Thank you for blessing us with your priesthood!

Our new Parochial Vicar, Fr. Sean Neville, starts his assignment with us this Tuesday, June 9! 

- St. Patrick's June 13-14: Fr. Sean will celebrate Masses at St. Patrick's next weekend, and we will have a reception in the lower hall for him after next Sunday's 9:30 am Mass. 

- St. Mary's June 20-21: Fr. Sean will celebrate 10 am Sunday Mass at St. Mary's and preach at all Sunday Masses on June 21. We will have a pastry reception for Fr. Sean in the Hospitality Room at St. Mary's after the Sunday Masses that weekend. Please welcome Fr. Sean

when you meet him!

We will also be celebrating Farewell Masses for Fr. Fabian in the coming weeks as he prepares to head home after June 30.

- St. Patrick's June 20-21: Fr. Fabian will celebrate Masses at St. Patrick's the weekend of June 20-21, and we will have a reception in the lower hall for him after the 9:30 am Sunday Mass that weekend. 

- St. Mary's June 27-28: Fr. Fabian will celebrate the 4:30 pm Vigil and the 12 pm Sunday Masses at St. Mary's and preach at all Masses on June 27-28. We will have a reception for Fr. Fabian in the Banquet Room following the 12 pm Mass that weekend. If you are considering a gift for Fr. Fabian, cash or check would be best since he will have a lot of his belongings to pack and bring home with him. 

This weekend is also our Catholic Charities Follow-Up weekend at St. Patrick's. If you missed giving to Catholic Charities back in February, please take a pledge envelope from the back of church after Mass today and consider supporting the work of Catholic Charities in our diocese.

I will be away this week with Nicky, Kara, and a few core members from our Life Teen and EDGE youth ministries in Arizona for the Catholic Youth Ministry Convention (CYMC) sponsored by Life Teen. CYMC gives adult youth leaders from all over the country a chance to pray, worship, and be formed together to build healthy, vibrant, and sustainable youth ministries rooted in Christ. Please pray for us this week during the convention!
